The Mars L80 and K105 AR are specialized tractors designed to be used in extremely tight spaces: row crops, vineyards, orchards, greenhouses and nursery gardens as well as all the maintenance work, in both summer and winter, typically done by local municipalities.

Thanks to the isodiametric wheels and steering with hydrostatic drive acting on the central articulation, the best qualities of the Mars L80 and K105 AR are their agility and manoeuvrability.

The reversible driving position (available as optional) allows to operate practically and rationally both with towed and front attachments.

The new electronically-operated Stage 3B engines comply with the strictest European standards as for emission control: a supremacy among isodiametric tractors translating into lower consumption, less toxic emissions and higher operating comfort.

Mars L80 tractors have a 2.4 lt Kohler engine which develops 75 HP. Turbocharged by a Turbo Intercooler, it is equipped with an EGR system alongside a DOC catalyst to reduce emissions and enhance operational efficiency.

Mars K105 tractors come with a 3.8 lt Kubota engine which develops 98 HP. Devices such as the Exhaust Gas Recirculation system, the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst and the Diesel Particulate Filter dramatically reduce toxic substances emitted into the environment. 

Both latest generation Common Rail engines ensure a precise injection control, a more efficient combustion, improved performance and less fuel consumption.

ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT

The electronically-managed engine keeps engine speed steady and thus the vehicle speed, the PTO rotation speed and the hydraulic flow, with following fuel saving and improvement of the work efficiency.

The engine speed electronic management, developed in-house by BCS Group, is fast and precise through a control panel located at the right of the steering wheel.

Transmission and gearbox

The structure with cantilevered engine allows for a very low centre of gravity without sacrificing ground clearance. 

The joint in the middle of the machine lets the front axle oscillate up to 15° with respect to the rear axle, for excellent stability on slopes, as the four wheels are always stuck on the ground.

The 32-speed synchronised gearbox (16 FWD + 16 REV) with synchronized reverser always allows right gear selection for the tasks for which the tractor is intended to.

The 'Long Life' clutch is multidisc in oil bath and requires no maintenance.

The Mars L80 and K105 are equipped with planetary gear axles to minimize wheelbase of the tractor and increase its manoeuvrability.

The permanent 4-wheel drive allows exploiting the machine’s towing feature.

Pto and hydraulic system

The rear PTO is independent from the gearbox and synchronized with all progress speeds. PTO can be engaged by an electro-hydraulic control, it has a speed of 540/540E rpm or, as optional, 540/1000 rpm. 

The clutch is multidisc in oil bath.

The solid rear hydraulic lift by rams (optional with position and draft control) relies on multi-purpose practical and versatile couplings to adapt quickly and easily to all marketed equipments.

As optional, it is also available a performing front lift which is necessary when using combined attachments.

The hydraulic system consists of a double circuit with two independent pumps and dedicated heat exchanger: one of 30 l/min dedicated to the lift and distributors, the other of 33 l/min dedicated to the hydroguide and electro-hydraulic control. As optional a 49 l/min oversize pump is available.

Active and passive safety

The use in full safety both slopes and crosswise is guaranteed by the design geometry of Mars L80 and K105 tractors, having a low centre of gravity and a very good weight distribution on axles when the implement is coupled to the rear lift.

The braking system with multi disc wet brakes, act on the rear transmission.

Front and rear differential lock, electro-hydraulically controlled, allows the tractor to be always in traction.

The roll-bar and the safety belts on the seat protect the operator.

Driving position

The Mars L80 and K105 driving position is custom-fitted on the driver with ergonomic controls placed to be easily found and activated by the operator.

From the seat the operator enjoys a complete view both on the machine and on the attachments.

The hydrostatic steering ensures maximum maneuverability and low turning radii.

In the reversible version, a few seconds are required to rotate by 180° the seat, the steering wheel and the console so that the operator may work having the equipment in front of him and constantly be able to control the operations.

The new, automotive-inspired dashboard is a concentrate of digital technology. 

In addition to the electrohydraulic controls located in a logic and ergonomic way, the multifunction colour display keeps each parameter under control at all times. 

The quick and immediate reading of the values is possible thanks to the analogue gauges with dials.
